NEW CONCORD, -- The following students from the area have been inducted into an honor society or honor fraternity at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. Inductions were celebrated during Parents and Family Weekend, held from March 31 to April 2 on campus.
Miranda Plumly of Barnesville was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, was the first college honor society of a national scope to give recognition and honor for meritorious leadership and service in extracurricular activities and to encourage development of general campus citizenship. Since its founding, Omicron Delta Kappa has initiated more than 300,000 members.
Kelsey Hague of Quaker City was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.
Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Its chapters are on more than 300 campuses in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. Each year, approximately 30,000 members are initiated.
