Lucas graduated from Ohio Northern University
Andrew Lucas of Belmont, Ohio graduated with Distinction from The Thomas Jefferson Smull College of Engineering at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio on May 23. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
While at Ohio Northern University, Andrew was active as a Junior and Senior Class Representative for the Joint Engineering Council, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and built and raced the ASCE Concrete Canoe where his team won the Regional Championship and became National Qualifiers in 2009. He also maintained a position on the Dean's List and was a four year recipient of the ONU Deans Scholarship and the ONU Engineering Scholarship.
Andrew is continuing his education at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where he has been awarded a Fellowship in the Engineering Graduate Program. He will pursue a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with a Geo Technical Concentration.
He is the son of Jeff and Mary Ann Lucas of Belmont and a 2006 graduate of Union Local High School.
