The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), Ohio Valley Depression Bipolar Support Group, meets June 7th, and 21st, and also, monthly on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of each month from 7-9 p.m. in Whalen Hall at Wheeling Jesuit University.

Depression and Bipolar Disorder can be isolating illnesses. But, DBSA support groups can help you connect with others who have been there as well. Visit a DBSA support group and get the support that is essential to recovery.

This is a free peer-led support group.

Cemetery groupmeeting June 6

The Mt. Zion Cemetery Association will hold its annual business meeting Tuesday June 6, 7:30 p.m.. at the Mt. Zion Church, south of

Bethesda. Anyone concerned with the maintenance of the cemetery may attend.

Mystery Dinner Theatre at Epworth Center

Epworth Center in Bethesda will have a Mystery Dinner Theatre June 10 at 6:30 p.m.

The production will be "My Big Fat Reality Wedding" by Mystery Theatre Unlimited who do their theater productions all over the Ohio Valley Area.

This production of "My Big Fat Reality Wedding" is an interactive production with the audience.

The meal will consist of either baked steak or baked chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, desserts and beverages. Cost for the meal and show are $35 with all proceeds going to the many ministries of the Epworth Center.

You won't want to miss this production with laughs galore.

VBS at East Main Street Church of Christ

Vacation Bible School at East Main Church of Christ in Barnesville will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 21-23 from 6-7:30 each evening. *Friday we will meet @ Memorial Park (Mothers' Club Shelter). The theme is: Putting Others First.

There will be classes for all ages.

BAMA meeting June 7

The Barnesville Area Ministerial Association will meet June 7 at Barnesville Hospital at 9:30 a.m. in the board room.

Switzerland of Ohio BOE meeting June 13

The Switzerland of Ohio Local School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 13 at 6 p.m. for its regular, monthly board meeting in the Central Office, 304 Mill St., Woodsfield.

BAMA Men's Prayer Breakfast

The Barnesville Area Ministerial Association Men's Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 8 a.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Barnesville.

Benefit for Brita Meyers Kinney

A benefit for Brita Meyers Kinney, who was diagnosed with stage four rectal cancer with metastasis to lung, will he held on Saturday, June 10 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 1930 E. Wheeling Ave. Cambridge, OH 43725. Help Brita with her fight against cancer.

Please come our and join us for a great time while we raise money to help Brita with her fight. All proceeds will aid in Brita's lost income and costs associated with her treatments.

Let's rally together and show her she is not alone in her fight. All donations are welcome.

CBAR meeting June 15

The Concerned Barnesville Area Residents (CBAR) next meeting will be Thursday, June 15. CBAR is a grassroots organization focused on addressing the environmental risks posed by shale gas development in our area. The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Barnesville Memorial Park. All are welcome.
