The Barnesville Farmers Market will be held on Saturday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Barnesville Depot Pavilion.

Anyone interested in joining us, please feel free to call Jane at 484-1519 or Teresa at 679-3313. As I mentioned last week, John has retired and is trying to have some quality time in relaxing and spending time with his family for a change, so if possible, try to call Jane or Teresa at the above numbers if you have questions about the Farmers Market. Were trying to give John time to relax. John will be down to see us as he can!!

This weeks featured vendor is Melody and Robert Johnson from St. Clairsville, Ohio. Robert does the garden and Melody does the selling of the produce. At this time in the growing season, they have lettuce, onions, zucchini, yellow squash, beets and Kenny Buck potatoes. Robert does scroll saw wood crafts, which Melody has for sale at the market, along with crafts that she does.

Come on down to the market and check Melody out, along with the other vendors selling rhubarb (sold by the pound), rhubarb plants, home grown herb plants, home grown tomato and pepper plants, teas, pressed flower frames, crafts, earrings, bracelets, key chains, sun catchers, our knife and scissor sharpener, home made jewelry, an assortment of home made baked goods, home made purses, crocheted t-towels, scrubbies, fleece blankets, crocheted afghans, decorated wreaths, some ceramics, some wooden items, and more.
