Union Local FFA to hold 50th anniversary open house

The Union Local FFA, in conjunction with the FFA Alumni, will be hosting an open house in honor of 50 years of FFA at Union Local High School. The open house will be held on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the high school commons. All past members of the Union Local FFA are invited to attend.

The Union Local FFA chapter would like to celebrate one of the few programs available to students at Union Local for the past 50 years. Past FFA members in attendance will have the opportunity to tour the Vocational Agriculture classroom, meet with other alumni members and review FFA memorabilia.

Chicken dinners will be available for donations and commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase during the event. Other activities include a picture station, Alumni membership information booth and slide show. Past state degree recipients and state contest winners will be highlighted during the event, as well as American degree recipients and past FFA advisors.
