With the recent events in the news of coal mine and drilling rig blasts I had to take time to stop and think.What part did I play in causing this to happen.Demand for energy that I and everyone else uses has increased dramatically in the last few decades to the point where I believe change is needed.Is a man or woman's life worth my light bulbs burning bright?Should I ask someone to give up a loved one so gas is cheaper?With the debate over energy policy at a near standstill because big coal and big oil want to keep the status quo,we as individuals can educate ourselves to live a greener lifestyle and decrease demand.The answer is not more enviormental control for what is law know is rarely enforced.We the people are the single biggest weapon against global warming.If you see a wrong and do nothing,you are as much to blame as the wrong doer.Live green,the planet needs you.
