Brownies Troop 5795 had their Bridge to Juniors Meeting on May 16th; this was also our last meeting for the year. At this meeting the girls received their new vests with all the patches they have earned in their second year of brownies, the top sellers for cookies and peanuts for both years combined received special prizes for their hard work, and everyone got to enjoy juice and cookies as well. This was our last year of being brownies as we regroup in the fall we will begin our journey as juniors'. Each of the 16 girls in this troop was bright spirited throughout the year and did their best to be a terrific girl scout. Our troop enjoyed several outings this year, which included a tubing trip to Seven Springs, an over nighter at the Ohio Valley Mall, we entered in the Halloween parade, we painted and delivered Easter eggs to Barnesville Health care center, delivered canned goods to the Food Pantry, adopted an angel at WesBanco, and we ended our year with a family trip to Idle Wild. This year has been a blast and I have had such a wonderful time getting to know all the girls and watching them work hard and finish each of their patches. I am very proud of each of the girls and want to thank Kim Crooks for helping myself with the troop throughout the year; I couldn't have done it without her.
