The Barnesville Garden Club is hosting a Gardens of Columbus tour on Wednesday, August 30 to see some of the loveliest gardens in Ohio. The day will include lunch at Schmidt's in German Village, along with visits to Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the Schiller Park in the German Village area filled with lovely landscaped gardens, and a visit to the Columbus Park of Roses. Here you will see over 11,000 roses of more than 300 varieties. (PLEASE NOTE: The Rose Gardens may be replaced with a visit to the Topiary Park if the roses are not going to be at their finest this time of year)
The tour will depart at 7 a.m. from the Barnesville Park & Ride, Rt. 800 Jct. Return time to Barnesville is estimated due to traffic and weather conditions, as 6:30 p.m.
The price per person $89 and deadline to register is August 10, 2017. At least 32 travelers are required for this tour. To make a reservation please contact Buckeye Tours, Inc., P.O.
