BHS Class of 1967 meets April 10

The next meeting of Barnesville High School Class of 1967 will be held April 10 at Annie K's at noon. All members are welcome to join.

Hospital Aux. sponsoring uniform sale

The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary will be sponsoring a uniform sale on Thursday, April 20 from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. in the Classroom/Boardroom.

Spring Quarter Auction

The St. Paul Lutheran Church Annual Spring Quarter Auction will be held on Friday, April 28 at the Church, 56381 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the auction begins at 6:30 p.m.

First paddle is $5 and each additional (limit three) is $1 each. Seating is limited. An elevator is available. There will be a huge, self-serve food bar, free door prizes, large Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing and three rounds. Contact Terra K at (304) 280-4005 for more information.

BHS Class of 1962 reunion planning meeting April 12

The Barnesville High School Class of 1962 will hold a reunion planning meeting Wednesday, April 12, 10:30 a.m. at Annie K's Restaurant. All class members are encouraged to attend to assist with the planning of the class's 55th reunion to be held July 8.

Weyer Chapter 15, OES AnnualInspection

Weyer Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star will hold their annual inspection on Thursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in Centerville, State Route 147. Honored Member District Charities Director Candy Thompson, inspecting. Officer will be Deputy Grand Matron Eleanor Wilson. Honor Guests: Past Grand Patron Richard Wilson, Associate Grand Matorn Sandy Herman, and Grand Representative to Vermont, Crystal Dixon. Worthy Matron Bonnie Baley and Worthy Patron Wallace Malolepzy will preside. All sisters and brothers welcome to attend.

BHS Class of '65 ladies luncheon

The Barnesville High School Class of 1965 ladies luncheon will be held Friday, April 7 at Annie K's at noon.

Paint and Snack April 15

A Paint and Snack, hosted by the Bethesda Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 5-8 p.m. Ticket cost is $40 and includes the painting, a snack and a soft drink. The event will be held in the Bethesda Community Center. Contact Eugenia at (740) 457-2125.

Stamp show and bourse April 22

The Tuscora Stamp Club of Tuscarawas County is sponsoring a stamp show and bourse on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

It will be held at the Tuscora Park Pavilion at Tuscora Park, 161 Tuscora Ave. N.W., New Philadelphia.

There will be stamp exhibits and dealers to serve the needs of all collectors. Admission is free.

Starting at 4 p.m., there will be an auction of stamps, supplies, and philatelic material.

Spring craft bazaarat Astoria Place

A spring craft bazaar will be held at Astoria Place of Barnesville on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be food, baked goods and beverages. Those interested in having a table at the bazaar should call Lisa Delman a Astoria Place at (740) 425-3648.

Chamber seeks nominations

The annual Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce Community Banquet is set for Thursday, April 27th in the Elk's ballroom. Guest speaker will be Murray Energy Corporation CEO Robert E. Murray. Nominations for annual awards such as Employee of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Citizen of the Year should be sent to the chamber office by e-mailing bacc@barnesvilleohiochamber.com or by calling (740) 425-4300. Donations of door prizes and auction items are also sought.

Trip to benefit hospital auxiliary

The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a tour of Biblical proportions to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15.

The trip will include motorcoach transportation, one night hotel accommodations, admission to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum, one diner/lunch/breakfast, driver tip, escort, tax and gratuities.
