A host of popular entertainers will grace the stage at the Hee Haw Variety Show to be held Friday, April 14, one night only, at 7 p.m. in the Barnesville High School auditorium.
Scheduled to perform are Mike and Melinda Anderson, Jessica Shaw, Jenna McCort, Natasha Schilling, Bryar Huntsman, Ty Leach, Lilly Leach, Jim and Ruth Mayhugh, Nathan Anderson, Chris Kernen, Jean Daniels, Terry and Julie McCort, Taylor McCort, Tammy Sroka, Johnna Sroka, Jake Sherman, Sydney Pavell, Katie Edwards, Addison Degenova and the Hee Haw Bums. The entire family is inivted to come out and listen to hillbillies tell a few jokes and sing.
Organizers promise to lift visitors' spirits and send them home feeling good. The show will provide good, wholesome fun for the entire family.
Food will be sold for two hours prior to the show. The menu will be hot turkey sandwiches, sloppy joes, hot dogs, noodles, green beans, macaroni salad, nachos and cheese, pies, and drinks. Door prizes will be awarded.
Discounted tickets are being sold until the end of March. The price for tickets will be $8 for adults, and $6 for students. All children under the age of five will be admitted free of charge. All tickets at the door will be $10 each. After expenses, all proceeds will benefit Jake Fuchs, who is battling cancer.
This show carries on the memories of Melodie Mayhugh Wrobel, who lost her life to cancer at the age of 34.
