Spring Gospel Meeting
A Spring Gospel Meeting with guest speaker Phil Grear will be held at the East Main Church of Christ in Barnesville, March 26-30. There will be three sessions on Sunday: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A session will be held each evening, Monday-Thursday at 7 p.m. Please join them as Phil Grear from Springfield, Ohio shares God's word on the topic of stewardship and having the heart of a servant.
Ladies Night to Be Revived
The Kennonsburg United Methodist Church is having a Ladies Night to Be Revived on March 25 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 57599 Kennonsburg Rd. Salesville, OH. The event is free. The guest speaker is Judy Howald who has a beautiful testimony, one that will touch your heart and bless your soul. We will have special music, followed by praise and worship. There will be a covered dish dinner following the service.
Square dance April 1
A square dance, sponsored by the St. John The Baptist Parish, will be held Saturday, April 1 from 8-11 p.m. in the parish hall, Miltonsburg, Ohio. Music will be provided by Deep Down Country. The public is invited.
First Baptist dedication service April 2
The First Baptist Church, 94 Shady Lane in Barnesville is inviting the public to join them on Sunday, April 2 for a celebration of the building addition to the church as they dedicate it to the Lord's work. The dedication service begins at 4 p.m., followed by a potluck meal of chicken, hall, rolls and drinks at 5 pm. The Stockdale Family band will perform at 6 p.m.
Coin Club meeting March 26
The Barnesville Coin Club will meet Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m. in the Barnesville Senior Citizen's Center located at 229 E. Main St., Barnesville. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. In addition to the regular meeting, there will be a coin auction and 50/50 drawing. Members are asked to bring coins for the coin auction. The meetings are open to the public. It should be noted that meeting will be held the fourth Sunday this month, instead of the third Sunday.
Stamp show and bourse April 22
The Tuscora Stamp Club of Tuscarawas County is sponsoring a stamp show and bourse on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
It will be held at the Tuscora Park Pavilion at Tuscora Park, 161 Tuscora Ave. N.W., New Philadelphia.
There will be stamp exhibits and dealers to serve the needs of all collectors. Admission is free.
Starting at 4 p.m., there will be an auction of stamps, supplies, and philatelic material.
BHS Class of 1967 meeting
The next meeting of Barnesville High School Class of 1967 will be held April 10 at Annie K's at noon. All members are welcome to join.
Barnesville BOE meeting date change
Notice is hereby given that there will be a regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Barnesville Exempted Village School District on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be located at the Barnesville Exempted Village School's Middle School Cafetorium to discuss all matters deemed necessary by the Board and the Superintendent.
Spring craft bazaar at Astoria Place
A spring craft bazaar will be held at Astoria Place of Barnesville on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be food, baked goods and beverages. Those interested in having a table at the bazaar should call Lisa Delman a Astoria Place at (740) 425-3648.
Chamber seeks nominations
The annual Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce Community Banquet is set for Thursday, April 27th in the Elk's ballroom. Guest speaker will be Murray Energy Corporation CEO Robert E. Murray. Trip to benefithospital auxiliary
The Barnesville Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a tour of Biblical proportions to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15.
The trip will include motorcoach transportation, one night hotel accommodations, admission to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum, one diner/lunch/breakfast, driver tip, escort, tax and gratuities.

Injured vs. Orphaned
On March 23, you are invited to a meeting on determining whether the wildlife species you come across is injured, orphaned, or should be left alone.
This meeting will be held at the Barnesville Library Annex at 611 N Chestnut St. Barnesville from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Topics will include wildlife habits, what to do in your situation, and how to become a wildlife rehabilitator and what it entails.
