SOMERTON -- Lewis "Buddy" Bussa has opened Bud's Auto Care in the former Wrenches Unlimited location on State Route 800 South, between Barnesville and Somerton.

Bussa worked at Wrenches as a mechanic for owner John Blattler for over a year beginning in 2009 after he was laid off from Shadyside Stamping. With the plant now closing, and Blattler having closed the 25-year old Wrenches after taking the Maintenance and Transportation Director position with the Barnesville Exempted Village School District, Bussa has reopened the shop as Bud's Auto Care.

An ASC Certified Mechanic, Bussa studied auto body at the joint vocational school and furthered his education of the trade in the Air Force. After the Air Force, he worked at Whiteside's and has repaired vehicles off and on throughout the years for family and friends.

Bud's offers alignments, brakes, diagnostics, electrical, suspension and oil changes. Bussa uses a Snap-on scanner, and the shop has three bays, an alignment rack, a tire machine, and a balancer. He uses NAPA parts from the Barnsvile store and offers estimates.

Bud's Auto Care is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment. Call (740) 238-8209 for more information.
