DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Police say two thieves stole a safe with an estimated $20,000 from a bingo hall in southwestern Ohio.
WHIO-TV in Dayton (http://bit.ly/yoiT4m ) says a police report indicates the thieves apparently broke screws connecting overlapping pieces of sheet metal that form the outer walls of the warehouse-style building.
Police say the pair used a dolly to carry the safe, which weighs between 50 and 75 pounds.
Officers are reviewing video surveillance footage for clues to the break-in. One suspect was wearing a blue jacket and jeans, and the other had a brown jacket and checkered shirt. Both had gloves.
The station says no one at Eastown Bingo was available Sunday to comment.
