Heat making late-game rallies a regular thing

MIAMI (AP) -- Some would say the Miami Heat are winning ugly.

The Heat would simply say that they're winning. Which, for them, is good enough.

Off to an 11-3 start this season, the Heat are 5-0 in games decided by five points or less. Two seasons ago, when LeBron James and Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were teammates for the first time, Miami lost eight of its first nine games that were decided by that point total.

The latest fourth-quarter comeback came Thursday night, when Miami trailed San Antonio by seven points with 4:48 remaining. The Heat closed on a 20-8 run and prevailed 105-100, the third straight home game where Miami rallied to win in the final minutes.

The way the Heat see it, they're not blowouts, but still effective enough.
